I sometimes have off the wall ideas or notions! LOL.. We all do but I am not ashamed to share what my imagination comes up with..
Maybe I remember wrong, but I think I was taught in school that each year the earth gets closer to the sun.
If that is true, then in time our fate will be the same as the planet Mars..
What if:
Mars was once green, lush and populated? But beginning to burn up as it moved closer to the sun? In attempts to save the Martians some were sent to the next planet (Earth) in attempts to save their race. On the ship they took animals and seeds of their world. When arriving, there was something, maybe radiation that affected all of the things that were brought. The dogs shed their fur and grew 100 times larger into dinosaurs as did the other animals. Man was reduced to troglodyte form.
As time passed the thing (radiation) that had deformed and mutated the living things, slowly wore out of the systems, and the animals mutated back towards what they were..
Now what if this is a secret that governments all over the world realize? Would it not make sense for the huge amounts of monies spent exploring the universe? Do our leaders know that in 10,000 years that we will be the next Mars?
Makes sense to keep exploring.. Maybe that is what our fate is?
Just something that keeps running through my mind…..
